Fi's Birthday

The day arrived and by the time Fi and I awoke, Leann had been busy decorating the room a bit for the big day.

The shrine

Balloons and banners were up with presents that had been gathered over previous days. Fi had a light breakfast then proceeded to open the bounty.

Champagne and wine were prominent as well as kind and funny cards. Assorted gifts and some jewellery made it for a lovely start.

Afterwards we prepared for travels to Mayfair where we were booked for lunch at Coya.

This is a Peruvian restaurant that does wonderful char grill and ceviche. Met up there with Scott and Leah for our decadent lunch.

Coya

Mix of entrees including kingfish and bass, followed by steak, chicken, and various vegetables. Food was superb and with rosé champagne, a Chardonnay, and polished off with a Pinot noir we regaled.

After 3 hours we even went for desserts! An absolute great afternoon and by the time we exited (as only people left) it was time to say our goodbyes to the other 2.

Fi, Leann and I returned home to continue on the birthday celebrations. Champagne and wine, made good company whilst we chatted and let the heat of the day subside on the balcony.

Not sure when the girls finished, but I left them around 11.00. A great day of merriment.
