Traditional Sunday Roast

Up reasonably early and after coffee and waking, we stepped out. Not quite as good a day as yesterday, but not bad considering the first 2 weeks.

Had researched Sunday Roasts in local area and were pleasantly surprised to find our old haunt at Davey's was rated best. Booked a table for the 3 of us for 1.30 and then ambled to Greenwich.

Walked through Deptford park and a half hour later arrived at Davey's. Girls chose the beef and I went lamb.

Outside dining and served with roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese. Was absolutely great and washed down with a bottle of Fiano, and a Rioja we were sated.

Bellies full we continued our travels making our way back to local where a folk band was playing and pub was heaving inside and out.

A few ciders and wine later dropped into local shop for dinner fixings then home.

Fi made pizzas and we ate and drank a bit longer. Bank holiday here today and Fi and I will be going to stay at Sian's for a couple of days.

Will let Leann have her own space after we check out at lunchtime.
