Musee D'Orsay

After breakfast Fi and I made our way to Musee D'Orsay as we had booked tickets,  which you have to do for everything Parisian. Even so was crowded and not surprising as there is too much to see.

Half hour slots to arrive is supposed to spread the crowd however it takes so long that is impossible. Add groups of school kids and large groups of other tourists has a jumbling effect.

In any case the art is amazing. So much you could spend a week and miss things.

Monet's Blue Water Lillies

Huge painting this one and a crowd favourite. Took a while to get clean shot. Surrounded by so many masters was awe inspiring.

Van Gogh's The Starry night

Had to get this after doing the Van Gogh experience in London. Saw fantastic sculptures and is a worthwhile trip.

From there we made our way back to Sorbonne area for late lunch.
Fi and I separated whilst she meandered back and I found a watch band as mine had broken.

Later we met up again with Brendan and Deb for a drink then down the street for some dinner.

Our digs at The Brady

A couple of nightcaps and up today to make our way to Reims for our next adventure.
