Another day exploring

After breakfast and catch ups a quick walk through a local heath with the dogs woke us up properly.

Owen and Doug, Sian and Monty, looking down towards Plumstead

Dropped the dogs off and then made our way to Woolwich via bus and ambled around the High street and around more of the history of the Arsenal.

Told you lots of cannons!

Great use of heritage buildings.

This one was constructed in 1773 as the home of master founders, Jan and Pieter Verbruggen. They built brass cannons. Nicely retasked as offices.

From there we had a light brunch and then up the street.

As is our want, we rested for a while at the Earl of Chatham before making our way back to Plumstead.

Kicked back into evening and Fi made pizzas for all and then we sat around until reasonably early night as our hosts have to go to work.

Will return to Deptford  today and plan our next few days.
