A stroll around west London
We arose to a cloudy day with chance of showers, undeterred off we went. Firstly to Balans in Kensington High Street for a brunch and once happily filled headed off to see the beauty of the area.
We wandered up Palace Gardens Road where many of the embassies are. No photos allowed in the street so you will have to take my word they are impressive.
Continued past Kensington Palace itself towards Albert Hall.
The Albert MemorialThis memorial is directly across from the Hall. We walked around the Hall towards the Royal College of Music.
Continuing on we headed to South Kensington where crowds gathered as there are 3 museums together. The Science Museum, Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Stopped for a coffee then continued our trek to the waterfront at Chelsea.
Down the Thames walkway towards Fulham we stopped for one refreshment before moving on.
Always a pub shot!
Got a lamb roast and fixings before making our way home. According to Fi we did 17,000 steps.
Anyway had a lovely dinner and chats with Scott.
Up today heading back to Deptford but will try and see more on our way.
